
Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing diesel-powered vehicles and equipment, with a commitment to quality work and workplace safety.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in diesel vehicles and heavy equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance including oil and filter changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid services.
- Use diagnostic tools — including multimeters, scan tools, and manufacturer-specific software — to assess engine, electrical, and emissions systems.
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and on-time project completion.
- Adhere to all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or in a comparable role.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems, drivetrain components, and related equipment.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software used in diesel repair.
- ASE certification (particularly ASE T-series for trucks) is a plus.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with colleagues and customers.
